Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to roamrigs.com and every listing on it (the "Site"), which is operated by Roam Rigs ("Roam Rigs," "we," "us"). By using the Site or sending an inquiry or offer through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site advertises vehicles offered for sale by their owner in private party sales. Roam Rigs is not a dealer, broker, lender, or auction, and does not sell vehicles on behalf of anyone else.
2. Listings are invitations, not offers
A listing invites you to make an offer. It is not an offer to sell, and no listing, price indication, or message creates a binding agreement. A sale exists only when both parties sign a written bill of sale or purchase agreement and payment has cleared in full. Until then, the seller may accept, counter, or decline any offer for any reason, and may change or withdraw a listing at any time without notice. Submitting an offer through the Site does not reserve a vehicle.
3. Listing information
Listing details come from the vehicle's factory and upfitter paperwork, published manufacturer warranty terms, and the seller's own knowledge. We work to keep them accurate, but descriptions, specifications, warranty dates, photos, and videos are provided for convenience and may contain errors or change. Photos may be edited for privacy, for example by blurring signs or license plates. You are responsible for verifying everything that matters to you before you buy, including by an in-person inspection, an independent mechanic, a vehicle history report, and confirmation of warranty coverage with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
4. Sold as-is
Unless a signed written agreement says otherwise, vehicles are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty of any kind from Roam Rigs, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any remaining manufacturer or upfitter warranty is provided by that manufacturer or upfitter under its own terms, and Roam Rigs makes no promise about its coverage or transferability beyond describing the published terms.
5. Inspections and viewings
Inspections are welcome by appointment at a time and place the seller agrees to. Test drives, if allowed, are at the seller's discretion and may require proof of a valid driver's license and insurance. You are responsible for your own safety and for any damage caused by you or your inspector.
6. Buyer responsibilities
The buyer is responsible for sales or use tax, title, registration, inspection, and plate fees in the buyer's state, and for arranging and paying for transport. Any upfit, body, or camper the buyer installs, and the certification, ratings, and loading of the completed vehicle, are the buyer's responsibility.
7. Payment and title
Payment method and timing are agreed in writing before handover. Title and keys transfer only after payment has cleared in full and any existing lien has been paid off. Deposits, if any, are governed by the written agreement that accepts them.
8. Protect yourself from fraud
Vehicle listings are a common target for scams. Only trust messages that answer an inquiry you sent through this Site. Roam Rigs will never ask you to pay with gift cards, cryptocurrency, or a payment app, will never ask you to pay before you have had the chance to see the vehicle and its title paperwork, and does not use a shipping or escrow company you did not choose yourself. If anything about a request seems off, stop and confirm it through the contact form on roamrigs.com before sending money.
9. Using the Site
Use the contact form only for genuine inquiries and offers. You agree not to send spam, automated or bulk submissions, false information, or unlawful or abusive content; not to try to bypass the Site's spam protection; and not to scrape, copy, or republish listings, photos, or videos. The Site's text, photos, video, and design belong to Roam Rigs and may not be reused without written permission, except that you may share a link to a listing.
10. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, Roam Rigs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site, reliance on listing information, or interruptions or errors in the Site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about the Site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless a signed purchase agreement says otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. A signed purchase agreement controls over these terms if the two conflict.
