Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Roam Rigs ("Roam Rigs," "we," "us") handles information on roamrigs.com (the "Site"). The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us about a vehicle, we use it only to reply and to handle a possible sale, and we never sell it.
1. Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you add one, your offer amount if you make one, your message, and which listing and type of request (offer, question, or viewing) you chose.
2. Information collected automatically
- Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical signals from your browser and device. We receive only a pass or fail result.
- General location. Our notification email includes the country your request came from, as reported by Cloudflare. We do not record your street address or precise location.
- Hosting and security logs. Cloudflare hosts and protects the Site and may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver the Site and block abuse.
We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media trackers. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to keep the Site secure.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry or offer and to arrange a viewing or inspection.
- To negotiate and, if you buy, to complete the sale and its paperwork.
- To keep the Site and its form free of spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations, for example records required for a vehicle sale.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your information for marketing unrelated to your inquiry.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that run the Site for us: Cloudflare (hosting, security, and spam protection) and Resend (delivery of the notification email that carries your inquiry). They may process it only to provide their service.
- When you go ahead with a purchase, with parties you would expect to be involved, such as a lender being paid off, a title or registration office, or a transport company you choose.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Roam Rigs, buyers, or others, including to investigate fraud.
5. How long we keep it
Your inquiry is delivered as an email to the seller; the Site itself does not store form submissions. We keep inquiry emails only as long as needed to handle the listing and any resulting sale, plus any period the law requires for sale records, and then delete them.
6. Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against automated abuse, and access to inquiries is limited to the seller. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as bank details, Social Security numbers, or driver's license numbers through the form.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request through the contact form on any listing, choosing "Ask a question," and use the same email address you used before so we can find your messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or other privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests as those laws require.
8. Children
The Site is meant for adults buying vehicles and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other sites
Listings may mention or link to manufacturers, upfitters, or other sites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. If a change materially affects how we use information you already sent, we will tell you before applying it.
